Delicious Pre-Packed Ayurvedic Breakfast Recipe
This one’s great for the warmer months, when your on-the-go (please still eat sitting down, present to the deliciousness!).
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/4 cup desiccated coconut
- 1 tsp raisins / currants / chopped figs or dates
- 1 tbsp mix of sesame / sunflower & pumpkin seeds
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- coconut or almond milk
- optional nuts such as slithered almonds, crushed hazelnuts or pistachios 🤤
Place all the ingredients in a small jar, in layers.
Pour over milk of choice to cover.
Stick it in the fridge or leave on the kitchen bench .. and voila! Delicious, pre-packed breaky to take to school or work the following day and eat at room temperature ... or better yet, put it in a pot with some ghee in the morning to heat, then pack it into your favourite thermos ✔️⭐️
